From the President...

Dear ANAC Members,

Is it time for the 2012 ANAC Conference already?  It sure is!  Time flies of
course when you are involved in a continuous "work in progress"! Getting behind the scenes, and learning how
all of the nuts and bolts in preparation of the conference works together, is an eye-opener!  If you have not
served on the board or a committee, you should!  A greater appreciation for the efforts of many members
preparing the ANAC conference is learned.  There is a lot gained by the experience and satisfaction of spreading
art across Nebraska!  Thank board members, exhibit board members, committee chairs when you see them for
their dedication to making the 2012 ANAC Conference the best possible!

We are seeking Central City as our destination for the ANAC 2013 Conference.  We are in negotiation stages
right now.  Justin with the Central City Performing Arts Center would be very happy to have us in 2013.  all we
need now is for a club(s) to come forward to host the 2013 conference.  The opportunity for your club to host
awaits!  Please contact me as soon as possible to get an early start!

I have been informed by our membership chair that our association is growing with one brand new club and two
returning clubs, thus giving us over 800 members this year!  Thank you to all that have helped ANAC grow!
Reaching out to our own communities makes a difference!

From the vice President...

It is IMPORTANT to send in  the correct information to ANAC.  Make sure it is legible.

Several years ago I had a small sculpture that was sent to the ANAC show and it was
disqualified. because the box it was in was not visible to the display committee.  I don't want
that kind of misunderstanding to happen to anyone else.

Read the rules for the show and then reread them again.  If you don't understand them, call a
board member and they will help you or will tell you who to contact.

many times, it is hard to read handwriting.  An
i can look like an e, and l like a 1 and the like.

Make sure the size is correct, year work was done correct, medium correct, for sale or not for
sale and amount if for sale is correct, glass or non-glass marked as such, dimensional work
has a container.

Read and reread and send in the correct information.  It makes it easier for everyone.

Sincerely, Erna Beach
